Troubleshooting

Engine detection, permissions and Wayland.

An engine isn't detected

Vibezeo looks for engines on your login shell's PATH, the way a terminal would, and only there: never in the project folder.

  • If the launch grid says your login shell's PATH didn't include any agent CLIs, add the folder the CLI is installed in to your shell's login profile (for example ~/.zprofile or ~/.profile), then choose Check again.
  • Make sure the CLI runs and is signed in from a normal terminal first.

Permissions

  • Keychain. Vibezeo stores secrets in the OS keychain. On Linux this needs a Secret Service provider such as GNOME Keyring or KWallet, unlocked in your session.
  • Files. Files inside a workspace are editable; anything else opens read-only.

Wayland

  • A blank or flickering window. Vibezeo draws its interface with WebKitGTK. If the window stays blank on your graphics driver, start it with WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1 tandem and tell us which driver you use.
  • Global shortcuts. Global shortcuts for Dictate, when it ships, use the desktop's GlobalShortcuts portal on Wayland; where that isn't available, you'll be able to bind xdg-open tandem://dictate/toggle to a desktop shortcut instead.

Still stuck
